Julia Roberts shared a rare PDA-filled pic along with her husband, Danny Moder, in honor of his 57th birthday.
“🔥🎉🥰🎂🔥 My fav[e] day. My fav[e] man. #131 #WLF,” Roberts, 58, captioned a photograph of her hugging the cinematographer on Saturday, January 31.
Just a few of the couple’s famous friends sent along their very own birthday wishes for Moder, including Rita Wilson who wrote within the comments section, “Blissful Birthday!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️like to all Moders!!!!”
It’s Complicated actress Alexandra Wentworth added, “Blissful Birthday to the nice Danny Moder!”
Roberts and Moder will have a good time their twenty fourth wedding anniversary in July. The couple met on the set of Roberts’ 2001 crime comedy The Mexican, where Moder was working as a cameraman. Roberts and Moder were each in other relationships on the time but later reconnected once they were single.
Roberts and Moder began stepping out together in 2001 and eventually tied the knot at her ranch in Taos, Latest Mexico, on July 4, 2002. They share three children: twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 21, and Henry, 18. (Roberts was previously married to country singer Lyle Lovett for 2 years, and had high-profile relationships with Kiefer Sutherland and Matthew Perry.)
Last September, Roberts paid sweet tribute to her enduring marriage during an interview with Entertainment Tonight alongside her After the Hunt costars Andrew Garfield and Ayo Edebiri. Roberts didn’t hesitate when asked to call an “element that brings you joy” in life.
“Danny Moder,” she replied. “Never changes. Never changes. Sometimes more. Sometimes medium.”
The Oscar winner has spoken often previously about how she considered raising a family to be her biggest accomplishment in life. Chatting to CBS News in 2022, Roberts mentioned that she considered being a wife and mom her “full-time job.”
“It isn’t rainbows and kittens on daily basis, nevertheless it does bring me a number of joy,” she admitted.
Roberts went on, “It’s just never consumed me, being an actor. It’s my dream come true, nevertheless it shouldn’t be my only dream come true. The life that I even have built with my husband [and] the life that we’ve built with our kids, that’s the most effective stuff. To return home at the top of the day, triumphantly, to them.”
The America’s Sweethearts star also shared a technique that she and Moder have kept passion alive of their marriage has been to write down one another handwritten love notes.
“[Writing handwritten notes is] something Danny and I even have all the time done,” she told CBS host Jane Pauley in 2022. “The primary letter he ever wrote me, which was seven pages long, I still have it tucked away. Sooner or later I’ll show it to [my daughter] Hazel and say, ‘That’s what you’re searching for.’”
A 12 months later, Us Weekly exclusively reported that Roberts and Moder were working through the “hard time” that got here with their eldest children leaving the nest. (Their twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, enrolled in college in September 2013 while Henry was ending highschool.)

On the horizon for Roberts is a number one role in 2027’s Panic Fastidiously opposite Elizabeth Olsen and Eddie Redmayne.
