Stevenson built an early lead and maintained control through the center rounds. A moment within the fourth round, when Lopez’s glove briefly touched the canvas following a body shot, was ruled a slip by referee Harvey Dock. Lopez pressed harder because the fight wore on, but Stevenson continued to dictate range and tempo.
Lopez suffered a cut over his left eyebrow within the eighth round and showed visible swelling because the fight progressed. Despite continued effort within the closing rounds, he was unable to shift momentum. Stevenson finished the fight on top of things, winning by unanimous decision on scores of 119–109 from all three judges.
Within the co feature, Keyshawn Davis stopped Jamaine Ortiz late within the twelfth round of their super lightweight bout.
Ortiz landed early and had success within the opening rounds, but Davis steadily took over through consistent body work and pressure. Davis scored with a series of unpolluted shots because the fight moved into the later rounds, while Ortiz showed signs of fatigue and swelling across the left eye.
The stoppage got here in the ultimate seconds of the bout, when Davis dropped Ortiz with a left to the body, prompting referee Thomas Taylor to wave the fight off at 2:47 of the twelfth round. It marked the primary stoppage lack of Ortiz’s profession.
Elsewhere on the cardboard, Bruce Carrington stopped Carlos Castro within the ninth round of their featherweight bout. Carrington built an early lead before weathering moments of resistance in the center rounds. He closed the fight with a 4 punch combination that sent Castro to the canvas, resulting in the stoppage at 1:29 of the ninth.
Austin Williams earned a ten round unanimous decision over late substitute Wendy Toussaint in an excellent middleweight bout. Williams scored a knockdown within the fourth round but was unable to secure a stoppage. Judges scored the fight 98–91 and 99–90 twice.
Within the heavyweight division, Jarrell Miller won a split decision over Kingsley Ibeh in a ten round contest. Ibeh had success within the early and middle rounds, particularly on the within, before Miller finished stronger down the stretch. Judges scored the bout 97–93 twice for Miller, with one card reading 96–94 for Ibeh.
On the undercard, Kevin Teddy Castillo defeated Ziyad Almaayouf by unanimous decision over eight rounds. Almaayouf scored an early knockdown, but Castillo rallied and controlled the later rounds. Judges scored the bout 78–73 and 77–74 twice.
