Days of Our Lives stays one of the iconic and nostalgic US-based soap operas. Vivian Alamain is one of the memorable characters of the hit daytime drama, portrayed by Louise Sorel since 1992. She just isn’t an lively a part of the show but is glad to make guest appearances.
This week, she got here back once more to play Vivian, and fans were greater than glad to see her back onscreen on the Peacock soap opera. But will the actress consider returning full-time to the show?
Days Of Our Lives: Louise Sorel On Portraying Vivian Alamain Over The Years
During a conversation with TV Insider, Sorel shared that returning to the hit soap felt quite familiar. “It felt comfortable since it’s such a pleasant group of individuals. Everybody there may be working so hard under such pressure, and so they really do their work as best as they’ll,” she said.
She added that it’s nice to be on the set of Days of Our Lives since the work atmosphere could be very sweet. Louise also identified how unpredictable the world of daytime dramas can really be. “I believe that’s the best way soaps are, where they drop you after which suddenly call you again,” she expressed.
The soap star also looked back at her memories of playing the role through the years. “It was energetic and a certain energy and madness about it that I really like.”
She also praised former head author James E. Reilly, calling him a madman who at all times got here up with the wackiest and most fun storylines.
Will Louise Sorel Return Full-Time?
While she got here on Days of our Lives just for a number of episodes this time, she is greater than willing to think about a full-time position once more.
“Sure, I’d like to. I really like that character. I’m from the theater, and also you do a show, after which it’s gone; you don’t stick with the character,” she said. “But I sort of fell in love with Vivian, after which I felt kind of a loss once I wasn’t playing her,” Louise admitted.
For this reason she is willing to return full-time if the writers ask. It just isn’t a secret that the audience can be elated to see her on the show again.
