An enthralling co-op motion roguelike from 2024, Rabbit and Steel, has received a free content update called Extra Mode. For many who have never heard of Rabbit and Steel, it’s a relatively unique game that recreates what it’s prefer to raid in an MMORPG, but in a 2D format. In my review, I praised it for its gameplay and the way it’s managed to capture the essence of MMORPG raiding in a completely different setting. It’s a superb time if you have got friends to play with, and we are able to’t wait to dive back in to examine out the brand new content.
As for what that recent content is, even the developer is keeping most of the small print out of the patch notes so players can discover it themselves. What we do know is that Extra Mode features three recent stages, a brand new final boss, 4 recent character classes, 80 recent items, and a conclusion to the Moonlit Kingdom’s story. There are also some changes to pre-existing loot and enemies, with certain items getting nerfs because they were just too good, and mino_dev didn’t want an entire set of enemies to be too easy.
Rabbit and Steel is one among those games more people should play, so if the thought of it interests you, it is best to grab it while it’s on sale.
