After years of rumors, the web multiplayer Horizon game is officially real and called Hunters Gathering, and can launch for PC and PS5. Horizon Hunters Gathering appears to maintain elements of the unique games, but there’s no denying its similarities to Fortnite either. The three-player co-op is about after the events of Horizon Forbidden West, pitting players against machines in an assortment of arena-styled environments. The general idea sticks to the formula normally employed by assembling a team where players utilize characters with unique skill sets and weapons to beat a typical enemy. On this case, every thing is about to the familiar settings of the post-apocalyptic Earth as seen within the Horizon franchise.

Interestingly enough, Guerrilla Games has opted not to stick to a conventional beat-em-up design, as a substitute revealing that an underlying story unfolds as the sport progresses. The developers haven’t revealed far more about what this recent lore will add to the story, but have said that it is going to be canon. There’s still no word on what many hope to be trilogy ending game to follow up on the events of Horizon Forbidden West, but it seems that the developers are laying out a path for it. Only time will tell, but meanwhile, those all in favour of joining playtests can learn more here. The developers haven’t indicated when Hunters Gathering will launch, nevertheless it’s possible we could see it released this yr.
