Epps apologized to Minaj on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, noting that after reflecting on his earlier comments in regards to the rapper, he realized he was within the unsuitable.

Along with Epps, Minaj recently drew the ire of former CNN anchor Don Lemon, who slammed the rapper as an “ignorant … bigot” who doesn’t like Black people, based on The Blast.

His comments got here after Minaj hurled a homophobic slur at Lemon online, which she doubled down on during a separate moment. Her statement was in response to Lemon’s independent reporting throughout the recent ICE protests in Minneapolis.
