I don’t want my customers hearing.’ And I said, ‘B-tch, you have to worry concerning the customers on the web. You don’t must worry concerning the three people in here buying a $180 pair of f-cking Hokas hearing it.”
He continued, “And one you wouldn’t should worry about customers knowing what the f-ck is occurring on this store should you taught some f-cking etiquette to your motherf-cking employees,” before adding that “God is with me.”

Critics Call Jelly Roll A ‘Fake Hollywood Christian’

The resurfaced video quickly drew backlash from some social media users. “And one other fake Hollywood Christian takes the mask off … over some shoes …” one user wrote as one other chimed in, “Sorry to tell you. This isn’t Christianity. That is cosplaying as Christianity. I don’t know why God has to enter your story. Pharisees of our time.”
The controversy comes as Jelly Roll continues to face scrutiny following his speech on the 2026 Grammy Awards.
Grammy Speech Sparks More Debate

On the ceremony, Jelly Roll won multiple awards, including Best Country Duo/Group Performance for Amen with Shaboozey and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for Hard Fought Hallelujah with Brandon Lake.
During his acceptance speech, Jelly Roll held a small Bible and reflected on his past. “I remember there was a moment in my life, and all I had was a Bible this big and a radio the identical size and a 6 by 8 foot cell,” he said. “And I believed that those two things could change my life. I believed that music had the facility to alter my life, and God had the facility to alter my life.”

The artist continued, “And I need to inform y’all immediately, Jesus is for everyone. Jesus isn’t known by one political party; Jesus isn’t owned by any label. Jesus is Jesus, and anybody can have a relationship with him. I really like you, lord.”
Jelly Roll Faces ICE Backlash After Grammy Speech

Reacting to his Grammy speech on X, one person wrote, “After all, Jelly Roll wouldn’t get on stage and denounce ICE like several of his peers did UNAPOLOGETICALLY. He got on stage and did a fake sermon. And yes, he absolutely is MAGA. F-ck him and that MAGA festival he’s doing.”
Adding fuel to the hearth, when asked on the red carpet about his stance on ICE, Jelly Roll replied, “People shouldn’t care to listen to my opinion. I’m a dumb redneck.”
Jelly Roll has not yet commented on the resurfaced video making the rounds on social media.
