Premier League leaders Arsenal will face League One outfit Mansfield within the fifth round of the FA Cup.

All eight fifth-round ties are scheduled to happen across the weekend commencing Saturday, March 7.

As of last season, replays have been scrapped from the primary round onwards to accommodate the expanded schedule of UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.

This implies all ties will go to beyond regular time and – if mandatory – a penalty shootout should they end in a draw at the top of normal time.

Reacting to Macclesfield’s draw on TNT Sports, Macclesfield owner Rob Smethurst promised those fans watching on within the clubhouse a free drink should they go on and beat Brentford.

‘Amazing, what a draw!’ he told TNT Sports presenter Darren Fletcher live from Moss Rose, now referred to as the Leasing.com Stadium.

‘It’s got to be drinks throughout for these fans if we win… on the home! Unbelievable.

‘The lads are going to be so up for it tonight, what a draw that may be.

‘I’m super enthusiastic about tonight now.’
