Nattie, formerly generally known as Natalya for many of her WWE run, has undergone a drastic character change as of late, not only adopting her independent circuit name but additionally her presentation and ruthlessness. During an episode of “Busted Open Radio,” Nattie expressed exactly what’s gone into her latest attitude and why she believes it was needed.
“I would like to accomplish that far more, and that is why I stay ready. … I have been ravenous in WWE for years, and so now that Nattie is finally here? I’m coming for all the pieces,” she declared, noting that Maxxine Dupri is the primary name on her list, after she cost the previous Women’s Intercontinental Champion her match against Becky Lynch. “I also had enough self-awareness, which any individual like Becky Lynch lacks; I’ve had enough self-awareness to appreciate, like: okay, it is time to change. In the event you keep doing the identical things, you are going to get the identical results!”
She then explained that an element of her reinvention journey began with going outside of WWE and dealing other shows while still signed to the promotion, where she returned to smaller promotions. “To perform and to prove myself and prove that I actually have never missed a beat and I desired to earn all the pieces and I wasn’t glad just taking a paycheck from WWE,” Nattie added, admitting that she eventually became complacent where she was in WWE. “If it isn’t working for me, then is it working for WWE? And that is why I – again – asked to go outside the corporate. … But, I’m so hungry, like I’m ravenous. I’m not only coming for Becky’s championship, I would like all the pieces.”
Earlier this month on “WWE Raw,” Nattie continued her crusade against Dupri, with the 2 having a match that led to a count-out.
