NSAC threatens ex-UFC fighter Justin Jaynes with a lifetime ban after his third drug test failure

Life on the game’s biggest stage couldn’t have began a lot better, as Jaynes upset Frank Camacho at UFC Vegas 3 after receiving a late-notice call-up to the promotion.

But he’s lost seven of his nine pro fights since then, including all 4 of his remaining outings contained in the Octagon.

Jaynes tested positive for the cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine after his win at Tuff-N-Uff 149 last October.

‘Guitar Hero’ discovered his fate following that indiscretion on Wednesday during a monthly Nevada State Athletic Commission meeting.

A report from MMA Junkie’s Nolan King revealed that Jaynes has been suspended for 18 months, meaning he won’t be permitted to compete again until April 24, 2027.

“It’s his third drug violation. The commission says if he ever has a fourth violation, he’ll receive a lifetime ban in Nevada.”
