Oscar De La Hoya brands Dana White a liar in explosive media scrum

It seems that a Zuffa Boxing event can’t go by to date without Dana White launching considered one of his vintage rants within the direction of Oscar De La Hoya. The pair have been enemies for years, but are actually direct competitors within the boxing space.

He continued his onslaught against the legendary boxer-turned-promoter after this week’s show, after telling his rival to ‘go to OnlyFans’ to resolve a problem he’s having along with his company’s long-time office constructing.

And after dropping a ‘clap back Thursday’ video, De La Hoya met with media in Las Vegas last night where he gave his tackle White in additional detail. He was particularly critical of the brand new Zuffa belt, which can make its debut on March 8 when Jai Opetaia fights for it in Las Vegas.

“Look, Dana saying that he’s going to come back out with guns blazing and this and that, saying ‘we’re going to point out everyone the way it’s done and this and that’, then you definately created your personal belt, what’s that?” De La Hoya asked.

“I mean, that belt has less history than my Tom Ford belt, and my Dolce and Gabbana belt is price more. Don’t say you’re coming out with guns blazing after which have done nothing, you’re just one other promoter that got here in with a brand new belt and now you’re having Jai Opetaia for the Zuffa belt?

“To me, that’s embarrassing. It ought to be embarrassing for Jai Opetaia who’s an excellent world champion, an excellent person. I like the guy, but come on. How can you’ve got Jai Opetaia fight for the Zuffa belt which means nothing on this world?

“They wish to work against all of the organizations, they don’t want to incorporate the WBC, WBA, IBF or WBO. I mean, it’s absurd. To me it’s mind boggling that this guy, Uncle Fester, talks and talks and talks but says nothing.

“He lies, it’s all he does is lie. All the pieces about him is lies, lies, lies and he loves screaming because he thinks if people scream louder it becomes true. No, it’s only a bunch of BS, man.

“I like this sport, you possibly can see my passion. I like boxing, I used to be born to fight and we’re going to guard our sport.”
