NHL Rumors: St. Louis Blues Are Open For Business

Host: “Jordan Kyrou and Robert Thomas, the likelihood of each of them out of St Louis between, I’ll make it easier for everyone between now and October of 2026.”

Dave Pagnotta: “Well, take a look at the costs. The worth could be very high. Astronomical as one team told me for Thomas. Now, possibly that’s simply because the Blues don’t like anything on their team, and it’s not going to work. But some teams which have poked around, they’ve been told, No, it’s not going to work with you, because we don’t see the pieces.

As I said, I believe considered one of two, obviously, won’t be there next 12 months. I’d be very surprised that Kyrou is on that Blues team next season. As for Thomas, they need a Kings Ransom, and deservingly so. And I mean, look, if I’m any team, including the Habs, I’m poking on that because he’s a player that not only can play the dot, but he can even contribute on the best side, and definitely a goal for the Canadiens.

NHL Rumors: St. Louis Blues and Robert Thomas

I’d imagine that caliber player, they usually have the assets I’d imagine to do it, it’s only a matter of in the event that they need to. And possibly that modifies the general game plan a bit bit. I believe possibly it’s Kyrou more of a spotlight, because I believe I do know the costs is less, but St Louis is listening on almost everybody. And it’s a bit surprising considering Kyrou’s 27, Thomas shall be 27 this 12 months, but they’ve got their recent plan in place.

They’re going to look to see how they’ll move guys out, and that features (Brayden) Schenn, (Justin) Faulk, Mathieu Joseph and others. But we’ll see what finally ends up happening there. But long-winded answer, I apologize, but I believe, I believe Kyrou won’t be in St. Louis next 12 months, and Thomas, it’s only a matter of which team would step up with what would must be an astronomical style of deal.”

NHLRumors.com Note: The St. Louis Blues proceed to make everyone available at their prices. This has been the case for Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou since last season. You may add Brayden Schenn into that blend as well. Current GM Doug Armstrong at all times tried the identical tactic with message sending, making his players available but never trading them. It looks like now the Blues might be moving on from these young players. Nevertheless, they’ve control over where they need to go.
