Paddy Pimblett was furious after watching back the primary lack of his UFC profession.
‘The Baddy’ suffered a unanimous decision defeat when he fought Justin Gaethje for interim lightweight gold at UFC 324 on January 24.
Paddy Pimblett explained why the fight must have been a draw after his first big-screen rewatch.
The 31-year-old was indignant that Justin Gaethje‘s multiple eye pokes went unpunished, and frustrated by the undeniable fact that the commentators had different reactions to borderline low blows throughout the UFC 324 most important event.

Paddy Pimblett calls out UFC 324 commentators
Paddy Pimblett enjoyed his best moments of the fight against Justin Gaethje within the third round.
Nonetheless, the Englishman’s momentum was disrupted when Gaethje claimed he was hit with a low blow.
Referee Marc Goddard halted the motion and left Pimblett feeling like he’d been hard done by.
“See, that knee to the body hit him. That never hit him low,” he said while rewatching the fight.
“That’s experience. This did my head in. I can remember turning to Trevor Wittman and going like that [stretches out his arms and shrugs].
“It hits him on the belt line. It wasn’t low. I do know he’s your mate, [Daniel] Cormier, but look, that’s not low.
“We saw [Kamaru] Usman do something similar against Colby [Covington] for a little bit breather.
“So, it is perhaps a tactic they [fighters coached by Wittman] use.”
Later within the fight, Pimblett thought he was actually the victim of a real low blow that went uncalled.
The lightweight star was left livid when he heard UFC commentator Joe Rogan claim Gaethje’s shot was legal.
“Look, he’s just kneed me within the balls,” Pimblett added.
“What the f—? Watching this back is so annoying.
He’s just kneed me low after which landed shots due to it. And Rogan is saying ‘That’s beltline’.
“Well, if that’s belt line, how isn’t the one I hit Gaethje with before belt line?
“Watching it back just infuriates you, to be honest.
Paddy Pimblett’s next fight
Paddy Pimblett says in an ideal world, he would return against Benoit Saint-Denis in the summertime.
The French fan favorite moved into the 155lb top five after his TKO win over Dan Hooker at UFC 325 on January 31.
“It p—ed me off that Saint-Denis moved above me for beating that bum Dan Hooker,” Pimblett fumed.
“Why has Saint-Denis moved above me for beating the bum Dan Hooker, who’s f—ing s—?
“What’s happening there? I’ll fight anyone but… Saint Danis feels like a great fight for me.
“Europe’s two best lightweights going at it against one another.
“I don’t give a f—. I’ll fight anyone, but I’ll be back in the summertime.”
“I’m able to go. I haven’t got any injuries.”
