While the lads’s Elimination Chamber match, featuring Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, LA Knight, and Jey Uso, can have a seemingly predictable winner, with reports that WrestleMania plans are unfinished, at best, and up within the air on account of poor ticket sales, at worst, this match could find yourself being an exciting one. There isn’t a doubt there is a ton of great talent within the match, which is what makes it a draw, but just one man can emerge victorious to challenge Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.
The predictable winner of this match is “The American Nightmare” on account of his ongoing feud with McIntyre. If things find yourself exactly the way in which fans think, at the very least we’ll likely also see Jacob Fatu involved in some way within the Chamber. Getting the “Samoan Werewolf” involved, despite him not being within the match, officially, is an exciting prospect. The Chamber can be a terrific place for him to beat down Rhodes or wreck havoc in another way, resulting in the triple threat match for the Undisputed WWE Championship that seems more likely to occur in Las Vegas.
But, what if the top result is not as predictable as we might imagine? That thought alone makes this match far more exciting, which is much-needed on a really predictable card overall. Perhaps, Triple H will come to his senses and realize that finally putting Knight over here to get him within the ring with McIntyre, someone who he’s had issues with before, can be a superb idea to possibly help sell some more ‘Mania tickets. Rumors abound that McIntyre’s match will probably be anything but a singles bout, so heck, possibly throw Knight into the combination back over on “SmackDown” with a win to make this all much more messy.
Irrespective of what happens, this match goes to be a superb time. Despite what many fans take into consideration former World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso, he’s over with crowds all around the world, so that may at the very least add some extra excitement, despite the fact that his spot was meant for the now-injured Bronson Reed.
Perhaps more obvious than a Rhodes victory is an epic high-spot or three by Evans, possibly an enormous OG Cutter off the highest of the pod. Williams can also be exciting addition to the match, as he’s been extremely over with fans, and is already well on his option to becoming a mega star on the primary roster. With the solid bases of Orton and Rhodes, and even Knight, for Evans and Williams, there isn’t any doubt that regardless of the consequence, the lads’s Elimination Chamber match will probably be some of the exciting on the cardboard.
