Chelsea have discovered their potential path to the Champions League final after the draw for the tournament’s knockout stages took place.

Liam Rosenior’s side progressed robotically into the last-16 after a powerful away win at Napoli saw them secure a top-eight finish within the league phase.

It’ll be Chelsa’s first time back within the tournamnt’s knockout stages because the 2022/23 season where the Blues reached the quarter-finals before being knocked out by Real Madrid.

But they are going to harbour ambitions of kicking on further this time around, and Chlelsea know now their path to the ultimate as they give the impression of being so as to add a 3rd Champions League title to their trophy cabinet.

What’s Chelsea’s path to the Champions League final?

Chelsea will face defending champions Paris Saint-Germain within the last-16 of the Champions League.

Luis Enrique’s side were made to work of their play-off encounter with Monaco, but squeezed past with a 5-4 win on aggregate.

Should the Blues manage to knock out the defending champions, they are going to arrange a quarter-final clash against either Liverpool or Galatasary.

Each side met within the league phase earlier within the season, with Galatasaray recording a powerful 1-0 home win.

But a Liverpool win this time around would arrange an all-English last-eight clash and a repeat of the 2008 semi-finals.

Chelsea won that two-legged afair 16 years ago, and if Rosenior’s side can repeat the trick, they might be into the semi-finals where one in all Real Madrid, Manchester City, Atalanta and Bayern Munich await.

Real and City will face off within the last-16 in what’s fast becoming a modern-day Champions League classic. Bayern, meanwhile, finished second within the league phase and can tackle Atalanta after their superb comeback victory within the play-offs against Borussia Dortmund.

  • Finals: Arsenal

Last 16: March 10/11 and March 17/18

Quarter-finals: April 7/8 and April 14/15

Semi-finals: April 28/29 and May 5/6

Final: May 30 (Budapest)
