Steven Stamkos gives the Nashville Predators a three-team list
TSN: Steven Stamkos doesn’t wish to be traded, as he’s comfortable in Nashville, and he’s armed with a full-movement clause. He did prepare himself within the event the Predators were considering of approaching him to waive, as he provided a listing of three teams that he would waive to, in line with Pierre LeBrun.
“They’ve prepared themselves by coming up with a listing of preferred destinations. I’m told that list is topped by the Tampa Bay Lightning, after which the Dallas Stars, after which the Minnesota Wild, are the three teams on that list.
To a certain degree, Recent Jersey, the Devils tried to sign him two years ago, but actually it’s the Lightning, Stars, and Wild, and clearly Tampa Bay, boy, that’s a juicy angle if that would ever occur.”
LeBrun adds that he thinks it might be more of an offseason trade, versus an in-season move.

TSN: The Detroit Red Wings made a proposal to the Vancouver Canucks for defenseman Tyler Myers, and at this cut-off date, it’s not looking like he desires to go to Detroit.
“There’s still plenty of time, and I feel he’s inclined to attend to see if perhaps another teams step up and take a look at to make a take care of the Canucks. The Stars, for instance, are a team which are known to have some interest in him, and I consider he’d prefer to play there if that would work out.”
Ryan Rishaug: The Edmonton Oilers will not be in the combo for defenseman Tyler Myers.
The Edmonton Oilers may attempt to reshape their bottom six
TSN: The Edmonton Oilers bottom six forward group isn’t as deep because it was last 12 months, and Chris Johnston thinks they’re attempting to reshape it. The Anaheim Geese past the Oilers on Wednesday night, and there may be some urgency after dropping one other game.
