Jon Jones says he’s currently in negotiations to fight on the UFC White House event

Dana White has repeatedly ruled out Jon Jones being booked for the UFC White House card scheduled for June 14.

Jon Jones provides major comeback update
Dana White famously claimed the percentages of Jon Jones fighting on the White House were ‘a billion to at least one’.
Seven months later, it appears the UFC CEO has had a change of heart in regards to the $60 million fight card.
“I’m in negotiations with the UFC about this White House thing,” Jones told a room filled with fans on Saturday night.
“I’m a really, very, very proud American, and I cannot wait to represent another time.
“So, we’ll see what happens.”
Who could Jon Jones fight on the White House?
Jon Jones’ revelation about negotiations got here just hours after reports about his next fight emerged.
On Saturday, veteran MMA reporter Ariel Helwani publicly claimed that Alex Pereira could face Jones on the White House.
‘Poatan’ vacated his light heavyweight title amid rumors a couple of heavyweight move the day before.
“There have been talks of him fighting Jon Jones on the White House card,” Helwani said.
“Jon Jones on the White House card just isn’t dead.
“I don’t feel, as of at once, a ton of positive momentum in that direction, but I’m not here to let you know that it’s dead.
“There have been talks of this. Jon Jones vs Alex Pereira at heavyweight.”
