Royal Challengers Bengaluru icon Virat Kohli recently opened up in regards to the qualities he would really like to borrow from various celebrities, including fellow cricketers MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar. The previous India skipper said he admires Dhoni’s “contentment” and would ideally take “every little thing” from Tendulkar, eventually singling out the Master Blaster’s famous lap shot.
When asked about football greats Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, Kohli spoke about picking special traits from each. He also joked that he uses his eyebrows like wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson. The 37-year-old responded confidently to most names but appeared momentarily puzzled when pop star Taylor Swift was mentioned.
In a video posted by RCB on Instagram, Kohli said: “Shah Rukh Khan – his humility, MS Dhoni – contentment, Cristiano Ronaldo – discipline, Lionel Messi – miraculous abilities, Taylor Swift – I haven’t seen or heard lots of her, so I wouldn’t give you the chance to say.
“Dwayne Rock Johnson – I’ve got the eyebrow already, Sachin Tendulkar – every little thing; one thing that I would really like to have is the lap shot. He’s the primary one who began to lap the spinners so precisely, in order that was smooth, never looked rushed. I don’t mess [up] playing those shots.”
