Inside Khloé Kardashian’s Best Popcorn Flavor

I’m a giant believer in second possibilities, and Khloé Kardashian is getting one from me. Last month, I gave my honest review of Khloud Protein Popcorn, specializing in her Olive Oil and Sea Salt flavor. While I wasn’t a fan of the chalky texture and overwhelming whey coating, I used to be quickly notified by the Web that I dove in by trying the worst flavor first, and that I’d be higher off trying White Cheddar, because the cheese helps diminish the chalky protein powder taste. With only six bucks to lose, I quickly headed back to Sprouts to select up a bag to create one other review.

Last month, I attempted the Olive Oil and Sea Salt flavor of Khloé Kardashian’s Protein Popcorn collection. The feel was good, but I used to be immediately delay by the unpleasant taste of whey protein powder. When you’ve ever used unflavored whey powder in an effort to bake bread, it’s the exact same taste.

Fortunately, I can see why the White Cheddar flavor is held in much higher esteem. It doesn’t completely eliminate the whey taste, however the cheese does mask it. The feel holds up, and the tanginess of the cheese gives you a pleasing cheddar taste without being “funky” or overwhelming, like some flavors may be.

When it comes to fat, it seems comparable to other brands available on the market. Like many other popcorn varieties, it’s Non-GMO and gluten-free, although some special popcorn flavors might include wheat, so it’s necessary to examine the label. Khloud Protein Popcorn is seed-oil free, which you don’t at all times get with popcorn, however it comprises milk attributable to the milk protein isolate coating, so it’s unsuitable for vegans or those with dairy allergies.

In April 2025, when she first launched her protein-forward popcorn, the fact star talked to PEOPLE about why she decided to create her own snack line.

“I’m at this stage in my [health] journey for the past few years that I have been really attempting to up my protein intake. I’m all about muscle definition and being strong and healthy, not only skinny,”  she shared. “Protein sensible, I’m not someone that’s going to sit down down and have steak and eggs all day long, and I would like to devour protein.”

“I used to be going to fitness stores to get protein, grab and go. And so they don’t taste thoroughly, in my view, and so they’re full of a lot filler and artificial stuff,” she continued. “And I actually just wanted something, selfishly, that tasted great, that did not have a ton of ingredients in it, that I could [fulfill] my protein intake [with].”
