Actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay Thalapathy addressed a rally of supporters in Thanjavur on Wednesday (March 4) as a part of his campaign efforts. In his speech, he launched a powerful critique of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and the DMK government, urging the voters of Tamil Nadu to offer him and his party a probability. Vijay described the upcoming elections not only as a political contest but as an ‘oceanic emotion’ for him.
Vijay Thalapathy Addresses Jana Nayagan Release Delay
In keeping with the most recent update from ANI, Vijay stated, “Hearken to what I say, the subsequent government might be a TVK government. Fishermen, remain hopeful; your protection might be fully ensured. When the film Jana Nayagan was released, many individuals voiced their support. Even our Chief Minister expressed his backing. I thank them for that. Chief Minister, it’s possible you’ll attempt to silence me, but you can’t silence every Vijay in every household. They’ve already began their campaign.”
Vijay also drew a comparison between cricket and the upcoming Assembly elections, criticising the DMK for framing the competition as ‘Team Delhi versus Team Tamil Nadu.’ He said, “Ahead of the elections, DMK members are portraying it as a battle between the Tamil Nadu team and the Delhi team. Even in cricket, the Delhi team cannot match the Tamil Nadu team. Tamil Nadu is TVK, and TVK is Tamil Nadu. Any division of the Tamil Nadu team versus Delhi might be put aside—TVK will emerge victorious.”
