The BMF title can be back on the road at UFC 326.
Dana White said the BMF belt can be a one-off when the UFC created it for Jorge Masvidal’s major event against Nate Diaz in 2019. However the title has remained ever-present since returning to the fold in 2023.
Justin Gaethje knocked out Dustin Poirier to succeed Jorge Masvidal on the throne. The subsequent champion was Max Holloway, and he became the primary to successfully defend it, a feat he’s tasked with repeating against Charles Oliveira at UFC 326 this Saturday.
In keeping with many within the fanbase, the BMF belt is in the proper home.
