It’s a Song-Covey sister reunion. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before star Lana Condor is about to reprise her role of Lara Jean Covey in XO, Kitty.
Condor’s set to look in season three of the Netflix series, a derivative of To All The Boys, the streamer announced Friday. Condor led the three-film franchise. Her onscreen love interest from the movies, Peter Kavinsky, played by Noah Centino, appeared within the previous season of XO, Kitty.
The romantic dramedy follows the youngest Song Covey sister, Kitty, played by Anna Cathcart, as she navigates her teenage years stuffed with love and friendship while attending Korean Independent School of Seoul, often called KISS.
“Kitty Song Covey returns for her final 12 months at KISS together with her perfect senior 12 months mapped out,” the season’s official synopsis reads. “She’s going to make meaningful memories together with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future. And he or she’s going to define her relationship with Min Ho. For real this time. But when surprise revelations throw her plans, and relationships, off target, Kitty may have to learn to embrace the unexpected.”
The show was renewed for its third season, which Netflix announced Wednesday will premiere on April 2, a couple of month after its second season premiered in January 2025. Season two of XO, Kitty ended with Kitty seemingly offering to go off on tour together with her crush Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee) and his family. To All of the Boys writer Jenny Han created the series and executive produces with season three showrunner Valentina Garza, Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment and Bradley Gardner. Paramount TV Studios produces the series.
