Sorab Bedi, popularly often known as “Rajma Chawal boy” amongst fans, is currently in Splitsvilla X6. Known for his candid nature, he addressed rumours regarding the scripting of the show. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, he shared his perspective on content editing, reaffirming that the show’s story is real. Sorab Bedi emphasised he wouldn’t have participated if the show were scripted. He also clarified that the content viewers see is authentic, with minimal editing for unnecessary parts. Sorab Bedi Reveals If Splitsvilla X6 Is Scripted
Speaking of rumours of the Spiltsvilla X6 being scripted, Sorab Bedi said, “Agar Splitsvilla scripted hota, toh fundamental khel hi nahi raha hota. Important toh haath-pair jod deta off camera jaake, ‘Sir please script kar do ise.’ Maine ek bhi challenge skip nahi kiya. Nahi, scripted nahi hota. Is baat se toh fundamental bilkul agree nahi karta. Matlab fundamental aapko samjha deta hoon. 16 contestants ka dimaag kabhi-kabhi khatam hojata hoga, lekin wahan MTV ke logon ka dimaag shuru hojata hai. Unhe pata hota hai ek insaan shuru se kaisa raha hai — off camera, on camera, aur on camera kya perform kiya hai.”
Sorab On Makers Editing Cuts Or Promos
Speaking of, when one other contestant, during an interview with Bollywood Bubble, mentioned that makers cut promos or edit content, Sorab responded, “Woh story banate hain. Lekin aisa nahi hai ki koi aisi story bana denge jo Sorab ne ki hi nahi hai. Aisa thodi na hoga ki fundamental kuch karke nahi aaya aur wo bolenge, ‘Sorab idhar aa, wapas shoot karte hain.’ Yeh ho hi nahi sakta.”
He concluded, “Jisne joh kiya hota hai, wahi dikhaya jata hai. Uski poori story dikhai jati hai. Jab aap show start se end tak dekhte ho, toh pata lag jata hai na ki us insaan ne kya kiya hai. Toh kuch bhi scripted nahi hota. Joh insaan karke aaya hai, wahi dikhaya jata hai. Haan, ek-aad cheez jo unnecessary hoti hogi, woh cut kar dete honge. Aur woh sahi bhi hai. Kabhi kisi ne kuch aisa bol diya jo show se connected nahi tha. Meri bhi bahut si cheezein cut hui hain. Ab realize karta hoon ki agar woh aajati toh uska koi matlab hi nahi hota, show se related hi nahi thi.”
