Ishita Dixit Opens Up About Being Body Shamed & How Women’s Portrayal In TV Is Now Changing

While talking concerning the changes she’s seen as an actress, Ishita Dixit revealed that her journey wasn’t at all times easy. Remebering her hard times – stuffed with comments that actually affected her early in her profession, the actress shared, “As an actress, in fact, there was a time after I personally heard body-shaming comments, and surprisingly, they got here from one other woman. That made me feel sad, because I consider women should support one another quite than bring one another down.”

The young actress said such experiences made her reflect on a typical stereotype often repeated in society. She said, “I sometimes wonder why people say that ladies are one another’s enemies. In point of fact, there are a lot of wonderful women who take care of and support each other.”

Despite those challenges, Ishita says she has grown stronger with time. She admitted that body shaming was something she needed to cope with during her journey within the entertainment industry. “Yes, I actually have faced body shaming during my journey as an actor. But over time, I actually have learned to not let such things affect me anymore,” she said, making it clear that confidence and self-belief have helped her move forward.
