While promoting the following season of “House of Villains” on “Watch What Happens Live,” Sandoval discussed how Taylor has been doing for the reason that conclusion of season 2 of “The Valley.”

Tom Sandoval Gives Bravo Viewers An Update On Jax Taylor
“I discuss with Jax,” he said. “I talked to Jax last night, yeah.”
In line with Bravo’s Every day Dish, Sandoval spoke with the publication in November 2025 about his relationship with Taylor, confirming that he and Taylor speak greater than people likely realize.
The pair’s third musketeer, Tom Schwartz, also opened up about Taylor’s recovery process during an episode of his “Detox Retox” podcast.
“I don’t need to talk for him, because I feel he’s been keeping a low profile. But I’ll say based on what I’ve seen, he’s doing rather well,” Schwartz said.

“He’s very, he’s dialed in on his sobriety,” he added. “And yeah, man, he’s put a number of work into himself. But I don’t need to say an excessive amount of because he’s been purposefully keeping a low profile.”

Jax Taylor Proclaims Departure From ‘The Valley’ After A Controversial Season

Taylor has tried to remain out of the general public eye since his controversial second season of “The Valley,” which included his aggressive behavior toward his soon-to-be ex-wife, Britany Cartwright.
Taylor announced his departure from the season shortly after the reunion concluded.
“After an incredibly difficult 12 months and plenty of honest conversations with my team and producers, I will be stepping away from the following season of The Valley,” the daddy of 1 said. “At once, my focus must be on my sobriety, my mental health, and coparenting. Taking this time is needed for me to develop into the very best version of myself — especially for our son, Cruz.”

Jax Taylor Previously Opened Up About His Addiction Struggles

“I even have substance issues—primarily with cocaine. It’s hard to say out loud,” he said before revealing he struggled with this battle “since I used to be 23 and now I’m 45.”
Taylor continued, “There have been times where I’d stop doing it, but then there have been times where I’d go heavy on it.”
The “House of Villains” alum also discussed how difficult coping with addiction has been.
“I’ve never said this in my life,” he said. “So, to return out and say that I even have an addiction [and] that I even have a sickness that I even have to work on the remainder of my life is a extremely big deal for me.”

Taylor’s Exit From ‘The Valley’ Shocked Everyone, Including His Co-Stars

Cohen commented on Taylor’s departure, in accordance with The Blast, and called it a “good decision.”
“I feel he must work out sh-t without cameras around,” he added.
A few of Taylor’s co-stars, meanwhile, were reportedly “blindsided” by the villainous reality star’s exit.
“They weren’t given any advance notifications about his exit,” a source shared. “A lot of the solid were notified that filming was going to start at the top of the summer, and so they expected Jax can be an element of the brand new season because — whilst these days as yesterday — he hadn’t said otherwise. It is a huge surprise.”
Season 3 Of ‘The Valley’ Airs On Bravo In April 2026

While Taylor won’t be involved within the upcoming season of “The Valley,” Bravo fans will see familiar faces.
Along with Cartwright, Schwartz may even appear in a full-time capability within the upcoming batch of episodes.
During a previous interview, Schwartz said his return “looks like a rebirth in essentially the most organic way.”
“It doesn’t feel like I’m casted on a brand new show, you understand what I mean? It looks like they only picked up cameras with a special group of friends who I all know and love,” he said.
Schwartz went on to clarify how his storyline on season 3 of “The Valley” would differ from his time on “VPR.”
“I’m starting life over in my 40s, and also you get to see that, how that appears,” he said. “And, also, you get to see me within the early stages of form of falling in love, which is super intimate.”
