You recognize something is massively flawed when Daniel Cormier is feeling sorry for Jon Jones.
‘Bones’ was recently left off the UFC White House card he desperately desired to be an element of.
Since then, Jon Jones has asked to be released from his UFC contract during a public feud with Dana White.

Why Daniel Cormier feels bad for Jon Jones
Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones share a bitter rivalry that continues to be going strong in 2026.
Still, ‘DC’ empathizes with the primary man to beat him after watching his response to being left off the largest card of the 12 months.
“I type of felt bad for him,” Cormier admitted during a podcast he shares with Ben Askren.
“I felt bad for Jon since it just appeared like he desired to fight on the cardboard bad. He seemed crushed.”
Cormier went on to clarify why this Jones vs UFC feud is different from previous clashes between the 2 great MMA forces.
“I feel that is type of like a come-to-Jesus moment,” the UFC Hall of Famer added.
“At 28/29, regardless of what he did, when he got that event cancelled with Chael [Sonnen], he was selling pay-per-views, so that you had to return to him.
“Now, at 38/39, he’s got bad hip injuries and appears like he’s on his way out. They’re type of like, ‘You’re not gonna prove value to me in the long run, so I don’t think we’d like to bend over for you anymore.’”
Who else has supported Jon Jones?
Jon Jones has rallied support by claiming he received a ‘lowball’ offer to compete on the White House on June 14.
It was reported that he was offered $15 million, the identical amount Conor Benn will earn for his Zuffa Boxing debut next month.
Jones previously agreed to a $30 million deal to face Tom Aspinall and wanted the same sum of money to welcome Alex Pereira to heavyweight.
Surprisingly, Tom Aspinall was the primary fighter to talk out in support of Jones during his battle with the UFC.
Francis Ngannou has also backed Jones over the promotion he infamously fell out with in 2023.
Finally, Ronda Rousey ripped UFC fighter pay when asked concerning the ugly situation on Tuesday.
