They’ll then travel to face Sunrisers Hyderabad before heading to Kolkata for a match against three-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders. After the 2 away fixtures, LSG will return home to tackle the Gujarat Titans.
LSG strengthened their pace attack by signing Mohammed Shami for ₹10 crore and acquiring Arjun Tendulkar for ₹30 lakh. Additionally they traded pace-bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur to the Mumbai Indians for ₹2 crore.

LSG in 2025
The franchise had begun the 2025 season on a promising note but lost momentum midway through the tournament. Captain Rishabh Pant had a rough patch, yet he registered his maiden IPL hundred against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Nevertheless, the bowling attack struggled to deliver consistently.
