Boxing legend Mike Tyson has picked up an injury while training for his latest fight.
The heavyweight icon hasn’t fought since being outpointed by Jake Paul in November 2024.

Mike Tyson is nursing a sprain during training camp
Mike Tyson sat down for an interview with veteran MMA reporter Ariel Helwani on Wednesday.
During their chat, the 59-year-old may very well be seen wearing a black forged on his right hand.
“Training. Punching stuff,” Tyson said when he was asked what had happened to his hand.
“It’s just a bit of sprain. I’ve gotta go hard. It’s the one way I do know easy methods to go.”
Tyson insisted that his fight with Floyd Mayweather should still go ahead as planned next month.
“That’s something I’ve signed for already. It’s going to be taking place in Africa,” Tyson added.
Nevertheless, he gave a vague answer when quizzed about how his injury may impact things.
“We’ll see,” Tyson said when asked if his injury could prevent him from boxing in six weeks’ time.
Mike Tyson’s retirement plan
Mike Tyson flirted with the concept of hanging up his gloves for good after losing to Jake Paul.
The previous undisputed heavyweight champion believes Floyd Mayweather may very well be his last opponent.
‘Iron Mike’ also knows that he has a competitive spirit meaning ruling out more fights is sort of inconceivable.
“I believe it’s gonna be my last,” Tyson told Ariel Helwani about his retirement plan.
“But we’ll see.”
