Agent Dan Milstein, on Nikita Kucherov, who’s extension eligible this offseason

Pierre LeBru of The Athletic: Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov might be eligible for a contract extension this offseason. Can’t see him going anywhere. Kucherov’s agent, Dan Milstein, didn’t have anything to say about their next contract talks, and don’t count on Milstein leaking anything.

“I truthfully don’t know,” Milstein said. “We haven’t spoken, and on this one, I’m keeping my lips sealed. Nothing will leak from my side, and I might expect the identical from Tampa. Ultimately, it really comes all the way down to three people, not 4: Nikita, Julien and me.

“You’ll just should wait and see if and when something happens. Truthfully, I don’t know the way it should play out or, most significantly, when.”
