Ishan Kishan Gives Sharp Response to Query on Former Cricketer’s Controversial Remarks Post T20 World Cup 2026

India’s wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan told a journalist to ask higher questions when he was asked a couple of controversial social media post made by former cricketer Kirti Azad after India’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 victory. “It Feels Great”- Ishan Kishan On ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Win

Ishan Kishan said he may be very thankful for winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 and added that the achievement will encourage young players, especially those that come from small or distant places like him. He said (via Asian News International):

“It feels great because I consider the higher I perform, the more motivation it is going to be for the young kids here who need to grow. I all the time try to make sure as many players as possible emerge from every corner. Now that we’ve played the World Cup, it shows that with labor, you may succeed from anywhere.”

When asked about his future plans, Ishan Kishan added:

“Nothing much, just keep scoring runs, keep playing, and keep winning.”

The left-handed batter scored 317 runs in nine innings at a strike rate of 193.29 and hit three half-centuries.
