Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan, England all-rounder Will Jacks, and USA fast bowler Shadley van Schalkwyk have been shortlisted for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for February. In accordance with an ICC media release, the ladies’s shortlist includes Sri Lanka batter Harshitha Samarawickrama, Pakistan captain Fatima Sana, and India seam bowler Arundhati Reddy.
Sahibzada Farhan distinguished himself with a record total in an ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, while Will Jacks and Shadley van Schalkwyk were also standout performers. All three players were named within the ICC Team of the Tournament, with Schalkwyk because the twelfth player.
Sahibzada Farhan (Pakistan): The aggressive opener scored 383 runs at a median of 76.60 and a strike-rate of 160.25 in seven T20Is in the course of the tournament. He broke Virat Kohli’s record for many runs in a single edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and have become the primary to attain two centuries in a single edition, against Namibia and Sri Lanka.
Will Jacks (England): Jacks excelled with each bat and ball, scoring 192 runs at a strike-rate of 173.21 and taking 11 wickets at an economy rate of 8.04 in nine T20Is, helping his team reach the semifinals. He was awarded Player of the Match 4 times.
Shadley van Schalkwyk (USA): Van Schalkwyk took 13 wickets at an economy rate of 6.80 in 4 matches on the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. He was the leading wicket-taker within the initial group stage, with 4 for 25 against each India and Pakistan and three for 21 against the Netherlands.

In the ladies’s category, Harshitha Samarawickrama contributed to an ODI series win within the West Indies with two half-centuries, Fatima Sana delivered an all-round performance in each ODIs and T20Is, and Arundhati Reddy was India’s leading wicket-taker of their T20I series win in Australia.
Harshitha Samarawickrama (Sri Lanka): The left-handed batter scored 171 runs at a median of 57.00 and a strike-rate of 60.85 in three ODIs, helping to secure a 2-1 series victory over the West Indies within the Caribbean. She was the highest run-scorer within the series with scores of 66, 35, and 70.
Fatima Sana (Pakistan): Fatima scored 57 runs in two ODIs against South Africa at a strike-rate of 126.66 and in addition took two wickets. She was the best scorer within the T20Is in South Africa, with 90 runs in the primary match and an unbeaten 47 within the third, while also taking two wickets.
Arundhati Reddy (India): Reddy was the leading wicket-taker in India’s 2-1 T20I series win in Australia. She took 4 for 22, two for 30, and two for 35 within the three matches, ending with a median of 10.87 and an economy rate of seven.25.
