Jorge Masvidal defends Dana White after Ronda Rousey’s criticism: ‘Dana made you’

Jorge Masvidal has launched his own defence of Dana White and the UFC amid recent criticisms of the corporate.

Ronda Rousey has been the de facto face of the revolution against White’s monopolistic empire, taking up Gina Carano on May 16 in a Netflix showdown that has got the world talking. And she or he has used that chance to take aim at her former promotion, while insisting her fight is the most important of the 12 months.

Nonetheless, Masvidal disputes that concept provided that the UFC are set to stage an event on the White House lawn alongside other big shows that might include fights like Conor McGregor’s return after half a decade.

Jorge Masvidal mocks Ronda Rousey amid UFC feud

Jorge Masvidal is understood to post on his ‘Death Row MMA’ YouTube channel, reacting to the massive news of the day in combat sports. And in his latest video, he took a take a look at Ronda Rousey’s critiques of the UFC and Dana White.

“Her eyes, bro,” Masvidal said after watching the clip. “Her nose, her teeth like what form of demonology is she on, bro? That is spooky, man. I do know Ronda was a hell of a fighter at one point but she looks spooky, I seen that interview and I used to be spooked out.

“I don’t know what’s occurring with Ronda. But Ronda’s never been the very best on the mic to let you know the reality. She just says things which can be weird. Her taking shots at Dana, it’s like, Dana made you. Dana literally hand-walked you into the league and opened a whole lot of doors for you.”

It’s price noting that Rousey repeatedly heaps praise on White, and insists that the problems UFC are facing are resulting from his influence being diluted because the 2016 sale to WME and the next creation of TKO Group.

Jorge Masvidal believes Rousey vs Carano won’t be the hit that’s expected

Masvidal reckons that the nostalgia factor for Rousey – who last fought in 2016 – and Carano – who left the game in 2009 – won’t be as impactful as Most Invaluable Promotions and Netflix appear to expect.

”I do know she’s the one which did the accolades and fought, got in that cage and kept what she killed,” Masvidal continued. “But she’s just going on the UFC stuff so hard. For her to say things just like the UFC isn’t making fights people have the desire to make but her fight is the one people need to see?

“I suppose she’ll prove us all unsuitable after we see the numbers come back from Netflix. But I don’t think too many guys are enthusiastic about two chicks who aren’t any longer of their prime fighting… I really like Gina Carano, I feel she’s a hell of a star who opened up the doors for people like Ronda and Amanda Nunes.

“She was just like the first superstar for girls so I at all times don’t have anything but respect and love for Gina. Then Ronda obviously blew it out the gate, took the UFC into one other stratosphere so far as popularity goes and all that.

“But I feel they’re tooting their very own horn a bit of bit an excessive amount of… That is like ten years later and folks don’t really take care of that an excessive amount of… We’re going to see if I’m right or unsuitable, I’m not attempting to hate on that fight in any respect because I’m sure a whole lot of persons are going to tune in.”
