Hiten Tejwani Supports Rupali Ganguly Over Her Statement On TV Actors Receiving National Recognition
Rupali Ganguly, best known for her TV serial Anupamaa, once expressed that TV actors deserve recognition on the National Awards as well, emphasising that acting is acting and mustn’t be categorised. When asked for his opinion on the matter, Hiten Tejwani said, “I imagine it. She’s right. She may be very right. I completely agree along with her. Hona chaiye. Ek TV actor bhi mehnat karta hai toh woh kyu neglected hai? “
He further added, “Jabki log aaj bhi, there are specific cities, towns, and areas where they watch TV. They’re really hooked on TV. So it ought to be. And each actor who’s there, who’s working, puts in an equal amount of labor, and others or he’s equally famous as others. So there ought to be an award. If she is saying national award, then I agree along with her that there ought to be an award.”
