Gujarat Titans (GT) will start their IPL 2026 campaign against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on March 31 on the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium.
Shubman Gill eyes one other IPL trophy with Gujarat Titans in 2026
Gujarat Titans (GT) finished third within the league stage of IPL 2025. They played against Mumbai Indians(MI) within the Eliminator but lost the match by 20 runs. This time, Shubman Gill shall be desirous to lead his team to their second IPL title. GT had earlier won their first title in 2022 under Hardik Pandya.
Gill performed rather well last season. He not only took the team to the playoffs as captain but in addition scored essential runs. He was GT’s second-highest run-scorer, making 650 runs in 15 matches with a mean of fifty and a strike rate of 155.87, including six half-centuries.
