Former WWE star Alberto Rodriguez takes his gloves off before joining Ring Royale brawl
Former two-time WWE heavyweight and world champion Alberto Rodriguez, higher often called Alberto Del Rio, stepped contained in the ring for a boxing match on Sunday night.
The 48-year-old competed against Chuy Almada at Ring Royale however it only took two rounds for the bout to descend right into a brawl.
After the opposing teams flooded the ring, Rodriguez slowly received help taking his gloves taken off only to walk towards his opponent and begin throwing punches at him.

The fight turned chaotic after an already drained Rodriguez walked towards his corner along with his hands down and appeared to signal to one among his corner to get within the ring.
He hasn’t been as lively in pro wrestling because the promotion he was signed to (AAA) was acquired by WWE in 2025, who’ve previously released him twice.
Rodriguez also has a 9-6 record in MMA, having famously been knocked out by Mirko Cro Cop in 46 seconds while facing the devastating striker in a mask.
