Since Jade Cargill won the WWE Women’s Championship, she’s faced criticism. Following her win, she’s only been featured in squash matches, and fans have called out her booking. While on social media, she’s clapped back at them, she recently revealed something interesting.
As WWE Women’s Champion, Cargill Wants To Wrestle
Since winning the title in November 2025, Cargill has had six matches with one title defence. This has been a significant issue that fans have called out in her booking. Chatting with “Complex Graps,” she said,
“I mean, I need to wrestle. While you grow to be champion, you need to defend your title as much as possible. We have now a stellar locker room, but they’re all tied within the tag division, making that strong. I get it, but I need to wrestle. Wish to have matches with Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss. I feel like if I had a rematch with Tiffany Stratton, it’d be considered one of the things that solidified my win.”
“The person who injured me or had me out was Nia Jax, and I believe that will be something we will run back. I’m sort of a tweener and don’t care about anyone… I wrestled Chelsea Green, and she or he’s a heel. So I just want to wrestle more. That’s all I need to do is wrestle. I really like wrestling and that’s what I’m here for.”
“I’ve been called ‘Jadeberg.’ They tell me I can’t wrestle. The kill shot is, ‘You’ll be able to’t wrestle.’ Just say it. ‘Well, you possibly can’t wrestle.’ That’s all you possibly can say. Guess what I’ll say? I can’t tell, I’m a champion. Been a champion in two firms. I can’t tell, I’ve been on billboards.”
“I can’t tell, I make lots of money. That’s the kill shot that you would be able to say, and I promise you I can bounce back from anything. There’s nothing that somebody can say that could make me feel lower than or make me cry, because I do know I’m witty and I come back hard. However the only thing I ask is don’t discuss my kids.”
Cargill On Facing Rhea Ripley
Through the interview, she also talked about her upcoming match at WWE WrestleMania 42. Ahead of facing Rhea Ripley, she said,
“I don’t need to say that is going to be a simple match, it’s not. I’m going against the highest girl, the primary girl in our company. I don’t think anyone will argue that. Do I do know that I’m coming home with my title? Yes I do. I’m going to go balls to the wall, I’m entering into with no regrets. I’ve learned from my mistakes prior to now. Rhea has never seen someone like me.”
“I believe she’s phenomenal in her own right, but I’m phenomenal in mine as well. I’m not going to finish my undefeated streak at WrestleMania, about to go 3-0. I believe you guys are gonna’ see us placed on a show and a clinic. I believe she’s great, but I’m higher. I’m a powerhouse. No person’s really seen me go toe-to-toe with such a stellar opponent. Yes, this will probably be the grandest match that I’ve had up to now in my profession. The undeniable fact that I’m just starting and I actually have a lot to go is crazy.”
