Aditi Bhatia Admits TV Actors Being Typecast In The Industry
When asked concerning the bias within the TV industry toward conventionally attractive individuals, and whether it leads to them receiving more or fewer opportunities in comparison with others, Aditi Bhatia said, “I feel TV actors ka yeh hai ki they get stereotyped, and it’s unlucky ki industry aisa kar deti hai aapke liye. For instance, Vikrant Massey. Toh aise aise roles aate hain aur phir unka joh shift dikhta hai then audiences do not forget that and so they want to observe them more. Toh audiences hi aapko star banate hain. Jahan tak baat rahi good looking logon ki, I don’t think that creates any block for anything.”
Further speaking on lack of opportunities as a result of certain ways an actor looks, Aditi said, “I feel aisa mujhe face karne ko mila hai. You could have such amazing skilled makeup artists, stylists, and designers. I feel like if you happen to can get the knack of the character right, they’ll design your look in a way ki aap woh fit ho hi jaoge usmein. But uske liye people need to contemplate you.”
She concluded, “And I feel like joh film maine abhi haal hi mein kari hai (The Kerala Story 2), usse I feel it can open doors for people to assist them visualize me in a distinct space. Because otherwise they typically see me in ad work and more on the you understand happy-go-lucky side. So I feel people now will hopefully visualize me in additional layered and meaty roles. Instead of the entire good-looking part in additional layered and meaty roles.”
