Glenn Hoddle believes Wesley Fofana was ‘lower than Chelsea’s standard’ of their 3-0 defeat to Everton on Saturday.
Two goals from Beto and an excellent strike from Iliman Ndiaye sealed a deserved win for Everton, leaving Chelsea with 4 consecutive losses in all competitions.
Fofana was caught out for each of Beto’s goals on the Hill Dickinson Stadium and Hoddle says Chelsea’s £70 million signing ‘has got to actually have a look at himself’.
‘It’s not by probability, we analysed it at half time, Fofana in the primary couple of minutes gave the ball away after which he goes past the ball and Everton should really have scored then,’ Hoddle told Premier League Productions.

Hoddle also believes Liam Rosenior’s decision to not play the identical centre-back pairing on a consistent basis has disrupted Chelsea.
