The UFC commentator will not be very excited for the historic UFC White House event this coming June.
The premier MMA promotion finally announced their full six-fight card for the UFC White House event earlier this month.
When it was announced, it received loads of criticism from the fanbase attributable to the standard of the cardboard, because it was being built up as ‘the best event of all time’, with fans feeling let down.
And UFC commentator Joe Rogan initially expressed his concern with the event attributable to the timing of it and the continuing conflict within the Middle East.

After expressing serious concern with the event, that left fans wondering whether the longtime commentator can be within the booth for the historic show.
In a recent episode of his podcast, Rogan revealed that he will probably be on the commentary team for the event, but explained why he’s ‘not thrilled’ about it.
“Yeah, I’m not thrilled about that (event),” he said.
“Yeah, I’ll be there but I’m not thrilled about it, it doesn’t look like a sensible idea… It’s sort of a gimmick, you recognize, there’s that.
“And individuals are criticizing the cardboard but when it was another card it’s a fantastic card it’s just they’re criticizing it because they said it was gonna be the best card of all time and it’s also just gonna be a security nightmare.”
The promotion has stated that there won’t be fans in attendance on the actual event on the South Lawn of the White House, nevertheless, they’re giving freely free tickets for over 80,000 fans to observe the event on the Ellipse, which is a public park adjoining to the White House.
That in itself is causing loads of security concern considering the sheer amount of fans that will probably be near the event.
“Also they’re fighting outside, what if it rains, what if it’s hot? You’re in the midst of June, June in D.C. can get pretty warm, that affects fighters.
“We only did one outside fight that I used to be a part of and that was in Abu Dhabi and it was a nightmare. It was really hot and there have been bugs flying around the scale of f—— birds, it was crazy,” Rogan continued.
Dana White has all the time been extremely against hosting fights in stadiums and not using a roof attributable to the unknown factor of the weather and other things.
