Alexander Volkanovski wants Movsar Evloev to attempt to test him together with his wrestling
When sharing his immediate response to Saturday’s predominant event, Alexander Volkanovski questioned Movsar Evloev’s approach.
The Russian didn’t begin to focus more on utilizing his elite grappling until later in the most important fight of his profession, though this didn’t stop him from winning most of the striking exchanges within the judges’ eyes.
In a video where he shared more thoughts on the matchup, Volkanovski said that he doesn’t want Evloev to stray from his strongest skillset once they meet.
“I don’t want you to feel like you’ve to strike with me and all of this,” he said on his YouTube channel. “I don’t want any excuses. I would like you attempting to spam the wrestling because I do know you ain’t going to get them. Even in the event you did get me to the bottom, I’m bouncing straight back up and I’m going to force you to fight on the feet anyway.
“That’s why I do know that style ain’t going to be boring if you fight me because nobody’s going to take a seat there and just control me able,” Volkanovski continued.
