“Yes, I won’t be returning for season 9 of ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac,’” Dixon said during an April 2024 episode of “Reasonably Shady.” “It’s reality. The network didn’t invite me back. I used to be fired, for lack of higher words. I won’t sugarcoat the situation and say, ‘Ooh I’m walking away and it is a break’ or anything like this. It is a network decision.”

“I’m okay with it because nothing lasts eternally,” she continued. “I’ve had a really future on the show, and I just really appreciate that point and the chance that I had on the show.”

Dixon then took day trip to thank her Green-Eyed Bandit bestie Bryant for making her journey on the show memorable.

“I actually need to say I really like you… and it’s been such a fun, amazing, stressful, crazy, wild journey the past eight years. I couldn’t imagine doing what we did with anyone else,” she said on the time.

“We were great friends and the show brought us even closer,” Dixon added. “And we’ve been through so much on the show and faced a whole lot of scrutiny and judgment and hate, and we’ve supported one another through that … I hate that that a part of our friendship shouldn’t be there anymore.”

While not explicitly confirmed, it’s practically all but guaranteed that Karen Huger will return to “RHOP” as a full-time solid member following her jail time for DUI.

A number of weeks after ‘RHOP’ began airing its tenth season, news of Osefo and her husband Eddie’s arrest on multiple felony fraud charges sent shockwaves throughout the franchise. In October 2025, the couple was arrested in Maryland with a combined total of 33 counts of fraud.

Wendy was hit with 15 charges, while Eddie has 18 charges of his own. The costs were led to following an intensive investigation by authorities after the Osefos reported a burglary that authorities say was a fraudulent try to file false insurance claims. If convicted, they may face 25 years in prison.

While attending BravoCon the next month, which many were surprised to see she attended, Wendy addressed her legal troubles to fans.

“I read your messages. I can’t reply to everyone, but your love and support means the world to me,” Wendy said on the time. “, it’s an unlucky situation, and without delay I can’t say an excessive amount of, but I’ll say when the time is correct, I’ll share my story with everyone, and for now they’re just allegations, so we are going to proceed to push forward.”

In Dixon’s absence, things among the many “RHOP” ladies have modified, as latest solid members have been added and latest alliances have been formed. When she was last on the show, newbies Angel Massie and Tia Glover, and former full-time solid member Monique Samuels, weren’t solid members.

Moreover, the present white flag truce between Gizelle Bryant and Wendy Osefo was nonexistent. Then there may be the dynamic between Stacey Rusch and many of the ladies, as she has been consistently accused of lying since she joined the show in season 9, and Dixon has never filmed together with her.
