Jessi Ngatikaura returned to social media after her estranged husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, filed for divorce.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 33, took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, March 24, to share that she was listening to Taylor Swift’s song “Fresh Out the Slammer” from her Tortured Poet’s Department album. The track is about being free after ending a relationship.
Jessi selected to focus on the lyric, “Nevertheless it’s gonna be alright. I did my time,” in her social media upload.
Last week, Jordan, 31, filed for divorce from Jessi after five years of marriage. (The pair share kids Jagger, 5, and Jovi, 2.)
“This has not been a straightforward decision and it comes with a heavy heart,” Jordan told Us Weekly in a press release on Thursday, March 19. “I’m grateful for the shared memories and the teachings. While our paths are actually moving in several directions, my priority stays my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and guarded through this transition.”
He continued, “I’m committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this as a family.”
The timing of Jessi’s post comes after TMZ and Page Six each reported that Jordan’s temporary restraining order (TRO) was denied. (Page Six was the primary to interrupt the news.)
Sooner or later after filing for divorce, Jordan submitted a TRO request. No additional details regarding the request, including the alleged reason for the filing, were revealed on the time.
Jessi and Jordan’s relationship has been a give attention to Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Within the second season, Jessi was accused of infidelity. She later revealed that she had an emotional affair with Hulu star Marciano Brunette after they met while filming Vanderpump Villa.
“I wouldn’t say I used to be in love with him. It only lasted about two weeks, so it was quick. But I’ll say I confided in him lots,” Jessi exclusively told Us ahead of the season 3 premiere in November 2025. “The dynamic with Jordan that I had had in my marriage, I hadn’t really talked to anyone about it. My family and friends had been aware because they’d seen things, but I attempted to be like, ‘All the things’s wonderful.’”
Jessi claimed that she and Brunette grew close after she opened up about her marriage woes.
“I did feel a connection to him in that sense because he was there for me and he made me feel special,” she said. “Jordan would put me down lots. Marciano told me how pretty and funky and fun I used to be. I felt like there was a connection there because he was giving me something I used to be lacking. But I wouldn’t say I used to be in love with him.”
