Karren Jarrett could have just handed out probably the most unforgettable “rating” in wrestling history — and it had nothing to do with what happened within the ring.
Following 1FW’s Rumble in Rome event on March 21, a now-viral post from Twitter user BostonNooga stole the highlight. He wrote that while walking alone to his automobile, he felt secure enough to let loose what he described as a “huge fart.” He stated,
“Walking to my automobile, alone on an empty street, figured it was secure and let loose an enormous fart. At that very moment Karen Jarrett walked out. I’ll now walk into the ocean.”
The bizarre story quickly gained traction, and it was later confirmed that the incident did, actually, occur.
Reflecting on the night, Karen Jarrett said, “Saturday was an incredible night at The Rumble in Rome! The River Forum didn’t have one stinkin match… outside? Well, there was a rumble that was a 5-Star Stinker!”
The situation didn’t end there. The tweet became a subject of conversation on the “My World with Jeff Jarrett” podcast, where Jeff and Conrad Thompson recounted the way it all unfolded. Jarrett said,
“We leave the Forum and we’re driving back to Hendersonville, TN. We hit Buc-eees. We’re on our phones scrolling, and out of nowhere, Karen goes, ‘Oh my god. This really happened.’ Just read that tweet and I went, ‘Okay, thanks for sharing’ [Laughs]. She busted out (laughing). She responded to that tweet, ‘Boys will likely be boys.’ I said, ‘Karen, you’re kidding me.’ She said, ‘Nope. True story.’ It’s funny to me that the guy tweeted it and the way all of it went down.”
As for BostonNooga, he stood by his actions, later responding, “Pffft. Also THE COAST WAS CLEAR (I believed).”
