CMLL star Magnus will officially tackle NJPW’s famous Black Tiger gimmick.
On CMLL Informa, Magnus asked for the role, and NJPW approved it, with chairman Naoki Sugabayashi giving his blessing.
Magnus already wore the Black Tiger mask on the NJPW x CMLL Fantasticamania 2026 event. He might be the ninth wrestler to make use of this mask, after names like Eddie Guerrero, Rocky Romero, Mark Rocco, Tatsuhito Takaiwa, and Tomohiro Ishii.
Magnus has also wrestled in AEW and MLW, where he once held the MLW World Tag Team Championships.
