Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is not going to change his mind about leaving the club this summer despite pleas from supporters for him to remain on yet one more season.

The Brazil international announced earlier this yr he’ll leave Old Trafford when his contract expires at the top of the present campaign.

His deal does have the choice to increase by an additional 12 months but there are not any plans to activate it.

Signed from Real Madrid for £70million in 2023, Casemiro has endured some tough periods in Manchester but has had a tremendous return to form this season and has been considered one of the club’s most significant players.

United will seek to sign a alternative for the 34-year-old as a part of their midfield rebuild this summer with latest reports suggesting Sandro Tonali has moved to the highest of their list of targets.

His Newcastle United teammate Bruno Guimarães has also been linked with reports in Brazil suggesting Casemiro has personally really helpful the club sign his countryman.

The midfielder has also chipped in with seven goals this season, heading home against Aston Villa on 15 March.

‘But I do really imagine the choice is made and done. I’m having fun with myself at once. I imagine it is going to be some difficult (emotional) moments, these (final) games at Manchester United.’

Along with his United exit looming, reports suggest Casemiro is open to a move to AC Milan that will see him link up with one other midfield veteran and former Real Madrid teammate Luka Modric.

LA Galaxy and Inter Miami are also said to be all in favour of bringing him to the MLS.
