I feel it’s very confident, rooted, and just delivers. As an actor, I actually enjoyed how engaging it was without over complicating things.”
The actor further got candid about why the film is being called a correct entertainer. He said, “I feel the largest win for Dhurandhar is that it understands the audience. I mean it has all of the emotion, drama, moments of mass appeal and at the identical time, it still feels very fresh. I feel it’s just not about spectacle, the film has a heart. Plus, the storytelling is crisp and the characters feel really relatable and are adapted from real characters. Also, the casting may be very on point. That makes it very rare today.”
Sagar: It’s Not Just About Screen Time…
When asked concerning the role he would have loved to play within the film, Sagar Parekh didn’t hesitate to choose two powerful characters – Akshaye Khanna’s Rahman Dakait and Ranveer Singh’s Hamza. Sharing his thoughts, Sagar said, “I feel it could either be Rahman Dakait or Hamza that was played by Ranveer Singh because I feel each the characters were immensely strong. Especially Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza had layers, strength, vulnerability and a robust emotional craft. As an actor, I feel those are the roles that challenge you and stick with the audience. It’s not nearly screen time, but I feel it’s about impact. I feel that role definitely has it.”
