Report – Tony Khan Refusing To Comment On These Two Topics

Tony Khan is reportedly steering clear of two of the most important stories surrounding All Elite Wrestling in recent weeks.

In accordance with a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Khan has no intention of addressing questions on Toni Storm or reports that he attempted to buy WWE in 2023. Meltzer said,

“I used to be told outright before even asking concerning the subject that the 2 subjects Tony Khan is not going to speak about are Toni Storm and the story about his company putting in a bid to buy WWE in 2023.” He also noted the inconsistency surrounding Storm’s situation, stating that she participated in an autograph signing over the weekend without appearing to sell any injury despite a recent on-screen angle.

Storm was written off television through the March 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, where she was attacked by a mystery assailant. Initial reports suggested that the angle was used to cover a legitimate issue that would sideline her for an prolonged period, with some indications that she might not be cleared to wrestle again until no less than 2026.

AEW reportedly only became aware of Storm’s situation on the day of the Dynamite taping in Fresno, California.

As for the WWE rumors, reports from POST Wrestling claim that Khan — through his Base 10 enterprise — submitted a $6.9 billion bid to accumulate the corporate in 2023. Despite the magnitude of that story, it now appears to be one other topic Khan is unwilling to publicly discuss.
