Dillon Danis doesn’t want his upcoming wrestling match to be the last time he does battle with Colby Covington.
Saturday will see the polarizing combat sports figure make his debut in Real American Freestyle at the brand new promotion’s seventh event.
Before the rematch between Arman Tsarukyan and Georgio Poullas headlines on the Yuengling Center of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Danis will face Colby Covington within the co-main event.
The RAF mats shouldn’t be the one place where the ex-Bellator fighter is open to meeting ‘Chaos’.

Dillon Danis thinks he’d dominate RAF07 opponent Colby Covington within the UFC
Despite his MMA inactivity, Danis has continued to focus on the UFC.
While he has not fought contained in the Octagon, the 32-year-old has been involved in some major moments, including the brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
That incident reared its head in one other melee in the group at UFC 322, which resulted in Dana White banning Danis from the UFC.
But that hasn’t stopped the controversial fighter from pleading his case, and he even provided an inventory of 4 potential opponents for his UFC debut while chatting with Full Violence. Amongst them was his upcoming RAF07 opponent.
“I would really like to fight someone easy,” Danis said.
“Kevin Holland is simple. Neil Magny is simple. Colby is simple.
“D-Rod (Daniel Rodriguez), oh my God, easiest fight ever. In the event you lose to D-Rod, then retire,” he added.
Danis and Covington almost got here to blows at Friday’s RAF07 press conference. With that, tempers could spill over after they collide Saturday night in Florida.

Given White’s remarks after Danis brawled with Islam Makhachev’s team last November, it appears unlikely that the ex-Bellator fighter will ever compete under the UFC banner.
He only returned from a six-year mixed martial arts layoff in 2025. Danis submitted Warren Spencer in Misfits last August to develop into the crossover promotion’s inaugural light heavyweight MMA champion.
