Dana White has addressed the rumors about Conor McGregor’s potential comeback.
The previous dual-weight champion hasn’t fought since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021.
Earlier this week, Conor McGregor seemingly confirmed a rumor about his imminent return to MMA.

Dana White confirms ongoing talks with Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor suggested he’s going to headline International Fight Week in July.
Dana White provided an update on his biggest star’s comeback at UFC Seattle on Saturday night.
The UFC CEO insisted that nothing is official as he spoke with optimism concerning the situation.
“Possibly,” White said when asked if McGregor is fighting in July.
He added: “Nothing’s done. Nothing’s even remotely near being done.
“I’m [optimistic]. I used to be pretty optimistic at the tip of last 12 months.
“So, at the tip of last 12 months and going into this 12 months, I’m still confident.”
Inside Conor McGregor’s comeback camp
Conor McGregor has been sparring with 6ft 5in welterweight Eoin Sheridan in recent months.
The 4-0 PFL fighter provided an update on McGregor’s comeback camp in a recent interview with Bloody Elbow.
“I’ve been training with Conor for years now,” Sheridan said.
“We’ve sparred up to now, and he’s at all times been an excellent assist in my profession.
“It’s good to see him back. It’s good to see him training hard. As at all times, it’s gonna be a serious fight once he’s back.
“To be honest, he’s looking as sharp as ever in training. I’ve watched a couple of of his spars, and clearly, I’ve been in sparring with him.
“, a UFC champion doesn’t forget learn how to fight. It doesn’t matter how long they’re out.
“He’s fit now, and he’s working hard, so the subsequent fight will probably be one to observe, of course. I can’t say an excessive amount of about opponents, but there is certainly talks that he will probably be returning in the summertime, so I sit up for seeing that.”
