Update On Mahakali Shoot
In Mahakali, Akshaye plays the role of Asura guru Shukracharya. Directed by Puja Kolluru, the film is a component of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), which incorporates Hanu-Man (2024), its upcoming sequel Jai Hanuman, and the under-development project Adhira. Notably, Mahakali is Khanna’s Telugu debut. The film, centred around a female superhero, has generated considerable anticipation amongst audiences.
Akshaye Khanna’s Upcoming Projects
Beyond Mahakali, Akshaye can also be set to star in Siddharth P. Malhotra’s Ikka, where he’ll reportedly play the most important antagonist. The film features Sunny Deol, Dia Mirza, Tillotama Shome, and Sanjeeda Shaikh. It would be released directly on Netflix.
